Story TIME... As Jacob reached the top of the staircase, he reflected back on the sequence of events that led him to this exact place at this exact time.Story TIME...
It had all started today at lunch. Jacob had been seated at the kitchen table casually eating a cheese sandwich when his dog, Alfred, first spoke. Beside himself with shock, Jacob gaped at the dog as his human words came out with extreme clarity.
"Today, at 3:09 in the afternoon, your daughters life will end." Alfred all but shouted.
